Treat them right and a pair will hold its shape and wicking through hundreds of wash cycles.

Washing

• local_laundry_serviceMachine wash cold with like colors. Turn inside out to protect the toe seams.
• dryTumble dry low or air dry. Avoid high heat — it's hard on the elastic.
• do_not_disturbNo bleach, no fabric softener. Softener coats the fibers and reduces wicking.

Putting them on

1. Bunch the sock and seat your big toe fully into its sleeve first.
2. Work each toe into its sleeve one at a time.
3. Roll the cuff up and settle the heel. About 10 seconds once you've got the hang of it.

Making them last

Rotate a few pairs rather than wearing one into the ground — merino especially likes a rest day to recover its loft. Keep toenails trimmed to protect the sleeve tips.
